Local Family Friendly Park

Initiated in 2010 with a walking path, mapped Arboretum, playground, picnic shelter, gazebo and plenty of space for a multitude of activities in any season. Winner of the “Name our Park” contest, Elda Krikau officially christened “Crocus Park” at the 100 year anniversary of Laird in 2011.

Regional Parks
Laird is located between two Regional Parks. It is 23 kms away from Rosthern’s Valley Regional Park which has a large playground and games area with a 100' zip line and 80' slide. It also boasts an 18 hole grass green golf course.
 

A short 5 minute drive to the west is Valley Park located next to Waldheim which has amenities
such as golfing and camping.
