Council Meetings

Village Council Meetings are legal meetings at which Council has jurisdiction to conduct Village business and transactions and to make decisions.

Village Council meetings are held in Council Chambers at the Village of Laird office on the third Thursday of each month.  Meetings begin at 5:00p.m. and are open to the public. In the event confidential or sensitive information is being discussed, such as a human resource issue, the meeting, or certain parts of the meeting, may be closed to the public.

Those wishing to address Council must be placed on the agenda.  To be placed on the meeting agenda to make a presentation to Council, please contact the office no later than noon on the Friday before the meeting.
